The apartment is located in a historic old building, a cultural heritage, in the center of Burgas.
The project is proof of how with enough patience, trust and even with a limited budget, but with the right interventions, you can give a new, contemporary life to these spaces. At the beginning, we revealed the potential of the place, hidden during the years of exploitation. We invested more than half a year in restoring the windows, doors and the wooden floor, which was completely covered with carpet. We have restored their old ‘glamour’ and ensured they play their rightful role in the interior.
Our team assessed the spaces and incorporated client’s values in the design to get the most out of them to match and meet the occupancy needs. Thus, we left the “rotunda room” with maximum space, which, despite the small size of the apartment, gives the feeling of spaciousness and airiness of living. Through the already restored portal, it can be united or separated from the sleeping area. The furnishings in the apartment were tailored to the feeling of old and new existing together.
The result is a unique combination, carrying the richness of multilayers that can only happen naturally and casually in this kind of environment.
